"The Weather Condition in My Locality Nigeria and How I'm Preparing For a Possible Disaster."

Weather has been something we can't perfectly predict as we aren't God, we can say rain will fall today but the rain wouldn't fall the way we predicted it to fall. The wet season is supposed to end by now but rain seems to fall anyhow even as we are approaching October. It seems @goodybest has organised this contest before either in this community or steem4nigeria, I appreciate her for creating this contest.

What is the weather condition in your locality and how does it affect people's activities?

Judging from the articles of this contest I have read from different participants, I discovered that most steemians talked about rain so since rain sun appears in our area unpredictably, I have decided to make my entry unique by talking about Sun.

The weather condition in my locality here in Nigeria is Sunny 🌞. The sun is known to be very hot and also far from the ground, I hate it most times when the sun shines too much and the time I love sun is only during morning hours where it gives vitamin D to the body.

Sun distracts lots of things in my locality because it makes humans unable to walk on the road and go to their various destination because of how harsh it is. Currently is sunny in my area and I took pictures of a high tension facing the cloud which also made me take pictures of the cloud in the process.

When the sun is hot, everywhere becomes quite and dull and nobody dares to play loud music in such situation because it gives headache and increases boredom asvthe best thing mist times is to sleep.

Can you imagine that managed to take a picture of my shadow while standing outside under the sun 1 hour ago. I didn't want to make it obvious because of passerbys as I just faced my phone directly to it and captured it immediately.

When everywhere is dull, business doesn't move smoothly except little businesses like selling of cold sachet water on the streets and also icecreams as well.

Do You think there's a possibility to cause a Disaster, if Yes how are you preparing for it?

I do think the sun can cause disaster because if the rain doesn't fall the way it shines, plants won't be able to grow effectively and businesses will be very dull. Most people do think sickness comes faster when it rains alot but I feel that it occurs more when the sun shines alot. Heat rashes is the number thing that will affect alot of people.

Today the ground is currently very hot and dry because of the sun and am excited that is sunny as we all know that everything has advantage and disadvantage. The reason why am excited is because the little flood that has been in my area is gradually reducing. My preparation for it isn't much, I just need to make sure I avoid much heat by being close to fan all the time and also water my crops daily since the rain must have chosen to travel.
