Describe A Tortoise

A Tortoise is a reptile that has rounded and hard shell. It is just like a turtle, but it can survive in land unlike turtles. A tortoise can also survive in water. It is an animal that walks slow a lot, it is also an animal that lives for a very long period of time.

What can we learn from the lifestyle of a Tortoise?

I think the thing we can learn from the lifestyle of a tortoise is that they can live almost everywhere, they easily adapt to strange environments. Tortoise are animals that live long and am sure we can learn something from that.

Have you seen one before? if yes, where?

Yes I have seen a Tortoise before, it was three years ago when I and my friends went to an excursion to the Zoo. I saw a Tortoise in the Zoo, the shell of the Tortoise is very white and it was dirty also, we were told by the Zoo attendant that the Tortoise is 45 years old, am sure it's 48 years old now.

Are they important to man? What significant role do they play in humans life?

I don't really know if they are important to man. The role I think they play is that they offer positive vibes and good luck if suitable positioned.

If they are dangerous to man tell us their bad effect.

Tortoise is very dangerous to man because they are carriers of a bacteria known as salmonella.
Their bad effect is that this bacteria can result in dehydration, gastric distress and vomiting.

Conclusion

Tortoise is an animal which is nice even if it has some bad effects. Most people also keep Tortoise as pets. Have a nice day friends, bye for now.
