The diary game for Saturday, 25 May, 2024. My third day at my groundnut farm (Spraying to control weeds)

MORNING

The grace of God woke me today been happy and excited, and that is why I started the day by appreciating God first and asking God for the grace to do his will and be in good health through prayers. I woke up around 5 am and did morning devotion for one hour and fifteen minutes.

Eating food before going to the farm

It was part of my plan to go to my groundnut farm to spray chemicals that would help me control weeds so that the farm would be very clean. I delayed so that I would eat before going to the farm as I would stay long on the farm.

My sister cook yarm portage and serves me around 9:20 am, I eat the food and start my journey to the farm and on my way to farm I branch to my neighbor's house to collect his knapsack as I don't have one. I left home around 10:15 am and also branch to buy the chemical in a shop.

After buying the chemical, I enter Keke to the farm junction, so I walk almost half a km to the farm. But on my way to the farm, I stopped at a stream and filled the knapsack with water as there was no water close to the farm.

I started the spraying around 11:32, though there is not too much grass on the farm but groundnuts don't like too much grass, that is why I am trying to control the grass so that the groundnut would give a good yield. I use five cups of the chemical, that is to say, I fill the knapsack five times as every full knapsack carries one cup of the chemical.

AFTERNOON

At the farm

I worked for three hours and finished the work around 2:10 pm. I then cleaned myself and rested a little, I left the farm at 2:35 pm, and on my way to the main road I saw one of my friends with her aunty spraying their groundnut farm so I decided to help her aunty as she was the one doing the spraying.

I only sprayed one rubber and the chemical was finished, so they gathered their belongings and we walked together as they live in that area, they entered their house and walked to the main road and entered Keke to my house.

EVENING

At my boss's shop

I entered my house around 4:13 and immediately I took my bath and rushed to the shop to check on my second boss, I used to go and learn how to make shoes in his shop whenever I didn't have money to go to my uncle's shop. My second boss is the one who teaches my uncle how to make shoes.

I reached the shop and my boss was sitting down without work, so we greeted and we started gisting and laughing together. But he so me writing on Steemit and asked me, what I was writing. So now tell him about Steemit and was so excited and asked me to teach him, but I was so reluctant because he is a busy man, but he insists he want to join Steemit.

I now explain to him what we need to do for him to get an account. So I see him off because his house is far away, and I now come back home. I entered the house around 9:03 immediately my mother called for prayers, we prayed and I finished my diary game, and called it a day.
