SEC-S14W4: Shared Happiness is the best!

One way or the other, we have had exceptional moments that we couldn’t keep to ourselves, we just had to share the good news to everyone who care to listen and celebrate with them. Those shared moments of happiness is what we will be talking about now.

I’m alive and healthy to see the end of the year 2023, is enough reason to make me happy. Some people slept and didn’t wake up, some are critically ill and still in the hospital but look at me, strong and healthy like a stallion ready to run another race 2024, that’s enough to keep me joyful.

I have a million and one reasons to be happy but one stood out for me this year and it was getting a job. I knew how frustrated I was some years ago looking for a job it got so bad that I was desperate to settle for anything. I finally got one only to get their and realize is GNLD and FOREVA LIVING PRODUCT set of people that were sending those their random messages to deceive people to come for their fake job interviews, only to gather people, so they could turn it into a seminar. I almost had a fight with one of the staff. He was trying to stop everyone from going out because they found out it was a fake.

But look at this year 2023, I got two different jobs. The first one I was dropped out because of the economy situation of the country. I became so frustrated that I’ll have to start all over again with another job hunting, working under the sun again from company to company just to submit my résumé and submitting countless applications online. I didn’t know what to do. This second one came as a shocker. It didn’t take up to a week, I got another job offer to resume at my current place of work. I was so happy, I almost brought down the roof. I had to take my siblings out that day, to share my happiness with them. Though the salary was not as high as the previous one but I was so happy about it. Getting a job in Nigeria is like “looking for a needle in a haystack” but I got this one on a platter of gold base on recommendation. So, it was something worth celebrating with my siblings.

In my own case, I took my siblings out to a popular hotel around my area they call “igoni palace hotel”. What I got them was this barbecue fish and drinks. This hotel is wildly popular for their mastery in preparing this barbecue fishes. That was why, it was the first place that came to my mind to bring them to. At least, for them to per take in this moment of joy with me.

Shared happiness is always the best for me. There are moments you can’t contain your joy alone. You just have to celebrate with friends and family around you. Imagine how boring life would have been, if you you are all by yourself celebrating after achieving a great feat. Life is not made that way. There are reasons God put some set of people in our lives. In times of wonderful moments like these, you call them out and give them the good news and everyone jolly together. But, we also have to be mindful of the jealous ones. Is not everyone that smile with you that is happy for you… a lot are envious.

Is important people around us know that you have had a breakthrough. You cannot be a bringer of bad news all the time. When something good happens, share your joy stories with people. Let it be a form encouragement for others passing through the same situation. This will boost their morale to work harder or do better. A lot of people are in depression one way, that moment of happiness you share with them could be a form of hope for them. Strive to be a source of positivity, kindness, and support for others because that is when you feel really fulfilled in life

Shared happiness is what makes you fulfilled. No one is an island, it’s necessary you have people to also be there with you when you accomplish a great feat. There is this popular proverb that says “when people are celebrating within your neighborhood, you might be the next in line for a miracle”. So whenever we share happiness, is a way of motivating others not to give up and keep having faith.
