SEC17 WK:#1: Forgiveness unites family by @shubham26 | My Real Story Of Forgiveness|

Hello to all my dear Steemians hope everyone is in a good health and working towards the progress not only to oneself but also for the society. So it has been a month of me joining this platform and today I feel myself suitable for joining all the contests of this week.

So coming on to the topic of this week, this is my first ever participation in the engagement challenge and I am happy that my dear friends always guide me to present my post in a better way. So for this contest I would like to invite @sikha12 , @disconnect and @enamul to join and participate with us.

Meaning of Forgiveness for me

The first thing with comes into my mind after hearing this word forgiveness is the act of letting go inspite of punishing a person for his or her deeds. A person that has clean heart or you can say a person with soft heart always forgets the mistake done by others to him .

But the point we should remember is that forget one's mistake and forgive the person but always try to remember the mistake and take the learnings from the incident happened with you, in this world full of people sometimes having a good heart and forgiving people easily is taken for granted by others and same mistakes are repeated again and again which causes harm to other.

Why is forgiving someone considered important

We all know that anger and haughtiness gives birth to hatred and disrespect but at the same place if we forgive the person ignoring his or her mistakes to some extent we can save our bond or relationship with the person.

Forgiving someone is an act of kindness or you can say ending of the fights or hatred. A person with the nature of forgiveness is not only the person who wins in long term but also are respected in the eyes of people so it is very important to have a nature of forgiveness.

Role of forgiveness uniting in the family

Sometimes a person with quality of forgiveness is considered as weak but actually they are the ones who always try to save their relation and ignoring small mistakes and forgiving the members of their family not only strengthen the bonds between the members but also keeps them unite.

To run a family and to make your house a happy place and a sweet home unity is equally important as fight between the members of the family can never lead to good bonds between the members. No one is perfect in this world and everyone make some mistake so one should have a quality to keep the family happy and peaceful by forgiving the mistakes and correcting them by having a good conversation with the culprit.

Forgiving someone for the mistakes not only makes a person stronger by inside but also helps in creating a good impact on other members life in the family. So creating a peaceful and happy life and a good bond between the members of the family it is very much important to forgive and forget mistakes done by the family

My real life Incident which took place just few months before which changed my thought process.

Few months back an incident happened with me which changed my thought process and made my grandfather more respectful in my eyes. The incident was I broke my mom's phone not intentionally but by mistake and this incident was seen by my grandfather as his room as next to me. I was so scared of scolding that I lied to my parents of denying the fact that I have broken the phone.

The very next day each and every member of the family was asked about who has seen the culprit or if anyone has broken it knowingly or by mistake so my grandfather took the blame and said that at night due to the blur vision the phone got slipped from his hand and our family matter got solved.

That evening my grandfather called me and said that he knew I had broken the phone but he taught me a lesson that lying will not always work and one must learn to accept the mistake made by him or her. That day I felt very much guilty and promised my grandfather that I will leave this habit of lying. And very happily he said yes and forgave me for my mistake.

So this was my real story and contest entry post, hope you people will learn something going through my post or will also correct my mistakes if done from my side in making this post.
