In this content, i am going to direct our attention to just 2 among the many special foods that children can prepare together with their parents, especially during vacation, thus keep themselves busy.
Granted, preparing food is among the activities that can keep children busy, however, it can also be fun and educative for kids depending on their age.
To this end, it is essential to assign certain kitchen duties that are harmless for your kids to perform and also choose food items that fit according to their age to prepare with them. For instance, smaller children can assist by washing vegetables, blending or mixing ingredients, whereas older ones can assume more difficult duties such as peeling and chopping something up into pieces, like onions, tomatoes, okro,etc.
At this juncture, i would like us to consider the following 2 unique and healthy foods that children can make with their parents and they're as follows:
This diet is most children's favorite, hence parents should spend valuable time with their children and make it very pleasant and enjoyable for them by inviting them into the kitchen when necessary to prepare this healthy nourishing food with them.
Of course, the kids can learn a lot when their parents get them involved in various food preparations, including the preparation of Quaker oats which is one of the unique foods available today.
Besides, children who are fussy or too worried about what they eat as in being too selective, may be more interested in eating foods they are involved while preparing.
In addition, training your kids in this way may help them to develop personal interest in cooking, as a hobby, and that may become their lifelong career perhaps ending up becoming a professional chef in the family.

This is another special food that children can make with their parents while at home. Plantain is a type of food that is good for both adults and kids particularly as it holds out good nutrients such a vitamins, calcium, etc that the body needs thereby being considered as a delicacy.
Therefore, for parents to help their kids enjoy and appreciate the nourishing value of this meal, they need to invite them into the kitchen whenever they want to prepare it as a menu at any particular point in time to get them involved in the preparation processes.
