It's week 2 of the Steemit engagement challenge for season 17 and I'm delighted to be part of those sharing their publication for the week. The topic for the week is your family and Leisure activities.
Every family is supposed to have time for leisure activities because it helps the family to have a stronger bond with each other and also to shed stress away. I will be discussing this topic in detail via the tips below so let's get started.

My family's view on leisure activities is that this activity is very important to the progress and the development of the family and that is the reason why every Sunday, my dad and mum take us the siblings out to any nearby recreational center where we play with other children and also eat snacks.
This has been the routine of my parents since I was small and this also has become part of me now that I'm a grown-up. The idea of having fun and staying away from stress every Sunday is what I have made part of my life.
So every Sunday even though I'm not staying with my parents again, I take myself out or sometimes I go out with a few friends to have fun like watching movies, swimming, drinking, and having a good time. This helps me release stress and work better in the subsequent days ahead.
So my family views this leisure activity as a must-do activity every Sunday because we get to discuss with each other and have time to eat and play with one another since during the week everyone is always very busy with their activities.

My father has a little car and every Sunday evening say around 4:00 p.m., he comes and takes us all into the car and then takes us to any of the recreational centers. We always stay there for like 2-3 hours before coming back home.
Before going, he will ask what we will need in the place, so he goes beforehand to make the payment and reservation for those who want to watch movies and those who wish to swim.
So this is always the way he makes the arrangements so that we don't go there and be stranded. Immediately after we are done, he buys some snacks for all of us which we will bring home and still eat. This has been the routine since I was a child till this moment.

I enjoy watching movies whereas my siblings love playing with the merry-go-round gadget and others. My parents on the other hand sit and watch and cheer us up so everyone is actively involved in all we are doing during the recreational activities.
So we all enjoy all the activities and most times we wish not to go back home because the fun starts more during the night time. In summary, my family is a kind that loves leisure activities and that is why they made it a routine to go out every Sunday.
I have also inculcated that habit in myself and that is why even now I don't stay with them, I always make sure that I go out every Sunday to have fun and relax.

Nowadays in this fast paced life people have really forgotten to take out time for themselves. Your parents have made such a good routine that every week on Sunday you were told to stay away from stress and now you are doing the same with your children. How lucky are those children who are told to stay away from themselves on Sunday, their parents take them out. They take them to any recreational activity so that the children can develop and they can be mentally free. I respect you for this 💯.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with this! Spending time together doing fun stuff really helps strengthen the family bond. It's like when I was a kid, we used to have these game nights every Friday, and it was the highlight of the week for all of us.

Yh all of them have their favorite activity and that's nice because in most families, the children don't always have a choice and they are found following one particular person in doing the same thing there by making the event tiresome or boring.

In general, parents share more with their children on weekends because they are usually busy Monday through Friday working, the children are in classes and other activities. Sunday is for you a day for recreation, that's how you learned it and it will always remind you of pleasant moments with your family.
