Contest: Can poverty be reduced? How?

Good day y'all, how is everyone doing, it's my pleasure to write on poverty and how to tackle the issues arising, a sweet greeting to @udyliciouz for organizing this contest.

WHAT IS POVERTY

Poverty is a situation of lacking, can't afford, or being unable to provide needs for oneself, which could be clothes food, and so on.
When poverty stalks you, you'll be confused about things happening lately in your circle, it drains and lowers your standards of living.

LIST AND EXPLAIN FIVE CAUSES OF POVERTY

✔️ UNEMPLOYMENT
✔️ CONFLICT
✔️ INEQUALITY
✔️ ADDICTION
✔️ GAMBLING

Unemployment: when the government or people lack skills or good jobs to generate income for themselves or their families the feed, it becomes a serious issue to look into, looking at the way the country is filled with graduates, the student graduating in the universities and other centers are more than available jobs.

CONFLICT:I could remember when world war started, lives were lost, properties and even families are down both physically and financially, someone's store might have been burnt down, taking him from top to bottom "TRENCHES" reaching where he will lack completely.

INEQUALITY: Some widows out there are facing a lot because they lost the man of the house, the community doesn't value them, leaving the family to face disaster even when palliative care is given to the community

ADDICTION: Due to drugs and smoking, some citizens have emptied their entire household and properties just to get drugs daily, such addiction kills Both physical and internal systems causing lung and liver damage.

GAMBLING I believe there are Steemians who gamble, it can fetch you to poverty, it's risky stuff, you might use your cryptocurrencies to stake on games and have the outcome as red, your eyes and systems will be red, and you'll move from top to bottom.

CONSEQUENCES OF POVERTY

DEATH

Poverty can lead one to commit murder when he/she doesn't have anyone or anything to look up to, he/she will likely think about leaving the world or earth for others

Depression

When you lack certain needs and want, you begin to think, reason, and behave awkwardly, you won't feel free around people, and you will falsely be an introverted person because of depression.

HOMELESS

People end up on the roads, streets, bridges and even uncompleted buildings because they can't afford a roof under their heads.

LOW SELF-ESTEEM

The standard of living of a Nigerian is at least to provide himself with two square meals a day, but in this low esteem, an individual might only not provide himself with a square meal in 24 hours.

ROBBERY AND CRIME

Because of poverty, individuals or youth tend to get involved in high crimes, fraud, or even rituals to support themselves which is very wrong

Poverty alleviation strategies

🔥Educate individuals about how deadly poverty is
🔥Government should support the community with some common skill acquisition centers
🔥parent should help enroll their wards in self-employment
🔥Trust funds should be distributed without any individual choice of houses
🔥Industralization and support of the system

Personal task to alleviate poverty

When you stand up and work for yourself, your creator will sort you out, everything could change depending on what you do today, enroll yourself in a social skill or any paying work so you can change your life and story.
