Steemkids Community Update For August #4: For What You Might Have Missed

Hello dear community and @steemitblog, welcome to our weekly update. We are community for kids and as such, our activities are with regard to the kids and every other publications from other users are meant to educate the kids. Moreover, the kids thrive more in the company of adults and we are happy that we have kids lovers who are working hard to educate the kids.

Our update for week #4 in this August is going to cover all we did in the last 7 days with respect to the following:

• Our activities with regard to the community official curation account

• Our community engagement challenge update

• Our projects

• Booming Supports

Our activities With Regard To The Community's Official Curation Account

Our community curation account is @steemkidss and we use it to support our members alone who make publications in our community.

• For the past 7 days,we have actively been using the community account to support users who are active in the community. @ngoenyi is responsible for the manual curation.

• We were able to make 101 upvotes on 60 accounts with a voting CSI of 7.2 and without any self upvote. It is important to note that we will only upvote publications made in steemkids community.

• We have been building our steempower through regular powerups. Currently we have +35000 sp owned and we recently made a post to celebrate it. See the post link below:

• it is due to our constant power up that helped us to build our owned steempower to what it is now.

• We still have delegations from concerned users. But we no longer pay out delegation rewards to delegators.

Our community engagement challenge update

Engagement challenges for season 3 has ended and we are happy for the experience we gained during that period. We also thank all who were able to participate in the weekly contests. We have also applied for the new season to come and we await update from the steemit blog.

Our projects

As a community, we have a good number of projects that are meant to keep the kids busy. One and foremost is the #steemkidsedu which is about tutorials from different tutors in various fields. The tutorials have all been gathered in this post that we have termed All-in-one box

We update this post weekly to include all the new tutorials for the week. We are grateful to all the tutors who have been doing their best for us and for the kids. We pray that these ones keep receiving the supports that they deserve because their work deserve an applaud.

We also have our publication that is dedicated to the MODs where they submit all the Publications they reviewed on a daily basis. This has proved to be an effective tool to check mods that are active and that assist in the community. The mods take turns to review publications and drop at the comment section of that post. Booming Supports

We are glad to announce that we still have booming support. In fact, we have been granted the previllage of submitting 8 publications for support each day and that means that we are in tier 1. We will soon give the report to show the Publications we have supported so far.

• We will keep supporting all publications that are of quality in the community.
