My actions to make our environment cleaner, greener and healthier

Every good woman can't stand the sight of dirty things. They are always so intentional about their environment, and they ensure this environment is kept clean and green. I'm that kind of woman who finds a dirty environment repulsive. I love farming and seeing the green colours of nature. This is done by farming in any available space I find in my locality, which is allocated to me. As an intentional farmer, I try as much as possible to make good use of my hands to the fullest to make my farm productive.

I farm as a way of keeping the environment clean from weeds and green. In my locality, farming has become a major job for women, especially those who manage their households. They have to plant in order to eat due to the cost of things now, and these plants make the environment green and healthy, and the chances of weeds growing are slim as they are maintained so as not to disrupt plant growth.

First of all, I locate my land, which is usually beside my house. I ensure this land is cleared, weeds removed, and burned. The ground is then tilled to prevent weeds from growing. This cleared space from weeds is then used to plant crops that would enhance nature's colour, give you leafy vegetables as food, and other agricultural products.

The picture shown above shows the steps by which I do this. Apart from being intentional about the farmland where it's cultivated, it's made to become healthy and clean for planting and removing weeds, which attract some insects and animals, as the case may be. I also do clean-ups in my locality, where grasses are cleared and dry leaves are removed as well. This makes the environment clean.

I did this work on my farmland. Instead of making waste out of the land and leaving it infertile, I cultivate it and make the agricultural products green and healthy for consumption. I also do this healthy cleaning in my compound to keep it neat and clean at all times, not having to wait until it's sanitation day. I'm always motivated by the inborn training I received when I was young. My life as a child was pressured by hard work, cleanliness, and value. I grew up with this to manage my household as a wife. Most wives care less about these activities and sometimes hire people to do the work for them while they do pleasurable activities. Some people care less about whether the compound is clean or not. My upbringing motivated me to teach my children the basics of cleanliness and hard work, especially in these trying situations.
