My dear mom,

When you were with us, we did not understand your love for us, perhaps all children feel that whatever their parents are doing are their duty, all children think only about themselves, they need to understand the feelings of their parents. They neither have the understanding to understand the pain nor do they ever think about it.

But when a loved one like you goes away, the happy and sad times spent with him are badly remembered. I remember when you used to eat last, I couldn't understand why you did so. Sometimes you would not eat food later saying that I am not hungry today.

But now I have understood that earlier you used to eat whatever was left after feeding all of us or if it was not left, she would lie and remain without eating.

Perhaps God has created all the mothers in the world like this. All mothers who are full of love and sacrifice, live only for their families and children. But I still remember that you used to forget your pain, illness and problems and take care of our happiness and our needs.

Whenever I was sick, you took care of me the whole day. But whenever you were ill, we used to indulge in our sports. Once when you were very ill, I remember I had brought some food supplements for you, then you looked at me with your grateful eyes but did not say anything to me. You used to participate in all my happiness.

You protected all of us children from our father's anger, hid our foolish mistakes from him and saved us from his scoldings and beatings.

You used to stand as a shield for me and my brothers and sisters. When I was old enough to understand your love and feelings, you left us. If you are watching me from somewhere, then understand that I love you as much as you love me, but I did not know how to show my love.

Mom, I miss you a lot, even today I am living my life following the rules and ideals taught by you.

I pray to that Supreme Father God to make me your son in my next birth also.
