Kids School Diary || Between school and playing in the rain

Greetings steemean friend

Friends and all beloved community moderators @steemkids. The heavy rain that flushed my area from midnight last night until morning arrived, had a slight effect on the continuity of the learning process at school today.

Most school children cannot attend school for various reasons. It didn't stop there, the heavy rains again flushed our rural area, to be precise, moments before the children started learning, in other words, it was when the children started arriving.

But the heavy rains have gotten most of the students to take advantage of the opportunity to miss out on school. However, with a small number of students, the learning process continues as usual.

I also immediately entered the class VI room which was a little late to carry out learning with several students who were present. Until the break time arrived, which is around 10 and 20 minutes West Indonesia Time, then I went out to the office and the children started to rest.

But only a few moments where the children were resting and Jahan, the heavy rain hit again. Some of the children were running around and playing in the rain. At first, I and several other teachers stopped them from playing in the rain, but also considering that this was the first rain after it hadn't rained in a month, we could only stay silent watching the children's excitement, which was added to the next day's holiday.

Children's joy when it rains heavily

Some of the children also look for reasons to be able to play in the rain. Some argued that they transported water to mop the floors of their respective classrooms, water flowers and so on. But the point is they really want to be bathed in rain.

But in our hearts the board of teachers is also a little worried seeing the children playing in the rain and running around. But we also remember that only a small number of children came to school today, so I could only watch them in front of the office.

After the rain subsided a bit, we rang the bell to go home because it was no longer possible to continue learning with some of the children who were already soaked.

The children immediately left school and we, the teachers, remained silent in the office waiting for a few more moments. But after that, the heavy rain hit again which made us teachers again have to wait for the rain to stop before we could go home. At exactly 12:00 West Indonesia Time, the rain had subsided a bit and we headed home as soon as possible.
