What is the correct sentence? – Mini contest #15

It's a beautiful Thursday in the city of Uyo, Nigeria. The sun is as bright as the sun🌞 and I pray may all your expectations yield results.

This week scrambled sentence consist of 12 👆words as seen in the picture above.

And the two outstanding words I'll choose are "music and rain". But my focus would be on the "rain".

In my country Nigeria we have three seasons primarily; namely:
• Raining season
• Dry season and
• Harmattan

Raining season: This usually start by April to October which is accompanied by heavy rainfall and change in weather.
So right now we are in that season in my country as this is October and the rain is on the go.

So in one of those raining days, Saturday precisely I and my cousin we were supposed to attend a family friend's traditional marriage and it was raining cat and dog and the marriage was at the outskirts of the town; so we decided to wait until the rain subsides.
Then while at it my cousin prepared noodles and fried egg and tea for us to eat before we leave for the marriage, then after we finished eating still to lie low for the rain to stop she decided to play some cool music to wile away time. Then....

The music softly played while the rain tapped on the window gently.

People of God that's how the two of us zoom into sleep 🤣🤣🤣. I don't know if you can relate such sleep; after eating a mouth watering and satisfying meal in a cold weather accompanied with a soft music in the background. Mehn that's natural sedatives.
No! Tell me who wouldn't sleep?. That's how we slept and forgot where we were supposed to go Jez!🤣🤣🤣 Just to woke up and realized that time was far spent so there was no need of paying our ways to the place when the event has ended.

Chai! We felt so bad, but we didn't do it intentional right?. It was caused by the rain, the noodles and the music 🤣🤣, what am I even saying? Such flimsy excuses. But on a serious note, it wasn't intentional my friends.

No wonder we have birth rate at the increase during raining season; because especially on weekends were couples are at home and rain fall, there's sure going to be touching bodies 😀😀.
But as a single sister and brother you got no business with rainy day or cold weather, just take a cup of coffee or tea, and cover your duvet or better still use aboniki balm, don't say I didn't warn you.
Note: weather for two, but pregnancy for one🤣🤣🤣.
