How I promoted steem in my locality wearing steemkids community t-shirt and signing up new user 31/08/2021 | | by @udyliciouz

I woke up by 5:30 am and conducted my morning worship. After that I did my house chores, cooked food for the family, feed and bathe my kids and took my bath as well.

Before I could finish all these it was already 10:00, I took my kids and drop them in my sister's shop for her to take care of them for me.

At 11:00 I started my steem promotion. I met a lady who sells food stuff in a shop. I explain to her what steemit is all about and also showed her the Benefits of her joining steemit as a shop owner that she can do steemit when she has less customers and when she gets home in the evening. She was so happy to join the platform she even asked if she could be writing in any language other than English. And I told her yes that she can use any language when making a post.

I tried to sign her up with this username @futphil but the network was bad delaying the verification code from delivery. I will be going back tomorrow to sign her up.

When I left her shop, I enter an office close to that woman shop and met a lady whose name is Idongesit. I spent over 30 minutes with her explaining the concepts of the platform to her and she finally signed up and in the evening she told me she has done her introductory post that same day.

That is Idongesit and her username is @kesybliss.

When I left her office I was very hungry and I stop by a restaurant to eat so as to regain my strength and continue in my steem promotion.

In the restaurant I noticed that the woman who was selling food has a young boy with her so I talk to the mother telling her what steemit is all about and that her son can also join steemit.

I told the woman about steemkids community that they are teachers who instruct children online, give homework and when they do it and submit with good scores they get rewarded. The woman was so impressed and said that I should come back when they are less busy to sign up her son.

When I left the restaurant I went to a computer centre who had many students. Some of them were so busy while some were not. I talk to those who were not busy. Among those who were less busy only one really declare interest in joining the platform.

That is me and one of the students who showed interest.

When I finish with the student I met the owner of the computer centre and explain steemit to him and this was his response

I am always very busy and even when I leave this shop and go home I used to do other things at night you can get my wife phone number and talk to her I will love her to join it.

So I took the wife phone number and phone her she told me she's a nursing mother that she may not have the time. I told her that I am a nursing mother of four month old baby like her. That I joined steemit when my baby was just one month old.

And she responded

Are you serious? You mean I can you it even with my condition? okay if that's the case I'll call you to do it for me as soon as I have data in my phone.

After talking to the woman on phone I decided to stop there so as to go and pick my kids and give them something to eat. I talk to so many people and the majority of them responded favorably. I spent over 3 hours on Tuesday 31st August 2021 promoting steemit to people in my locality and I'm planning to go out again tomorrow 2nd September 2021.

My plan is to spread the news about steemit to as many people as possible, signed them up and help them Excel in this wonderful platform.
