Benefits Of A Child To A Household.

The birth of a baby to a household brings lots of joy and excitement. For families in conflicts, it is capable of turning the table for good.

I know of a family that was going through a rough patch until the arrival of a child. The arrival of this beautiful baby girl was the turning point and from this point, everything became beautiful and they lived happily thereafter.

Granted, the arrival of a baby has lots of financial implications. But I have been made to understand that God finds a way to multiply the income of the parents so that they can provide for their growing family.

Duties Of Parents

Children are very little but beautiful creatures who are fragile and ignorant of lots of things, and as such depend on their parents for provision, protection and guidance. Bellow are some Bible quotations that specifically spells out the duties of parents to their children.

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 13:24 Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

Deuteronomy 11:18-19 Commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words if mine. Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.

As good seeds begets good fruits so also do good parents beget good Children. The above Bible verses charges all parents to spend time and resources available to them to train their children the way they want. This training includes, physically, academically, morally and spiritually. They need to be tough the basic things like how to wash their clothes and do other house chores.

Proverbs 13:24 is talking about parents. correcting their children with love when they go wrong. This means that when a child does something bad, punish him accordingly, but with love. Stubborn children should also be punished to help them change and become better people.

In Deuteronomy 11:18-19 God wants parents to teach their children the way of the Lord. This is because it's better to catch them young and when they are old, they will not depart from it.

Conclusion

Accross the world, there are many children abandoned in countless motherless babies homes who need our love and care. Some children are born into very poor families, that they can't feed well clothe nor have a roof over their head.

We all have such Children around us, while you live your life and care for your biological Children, kindly remember these ones. Once in a while, extend your hands of kindness towards them.

Adoption:- Moreso, before you adopt a child, ensure you are willing to give them all the love and care you would give to your biological Children. This is because they deserve to be loved and treated equally as your biological Children. Again, they should have same rights to inheritance of the assets of their adopted parents.

Finally, Enshure you inform them early in life that they were adopted. This is very important, they will not receive it well if they learn of it from a third party.
