WHAT IS A STORY

A story can be defined as telling of other people an event that is fictional or true in an amazing way so that the listener will experiences it and also learn something from it , because of the fact that he or she heard the story.it is all about the transferring of information that we had experienced or even get a point of view.
The story has a teller and listener as well,if a story is tell and there's no listener and lesson it doesn't sound well. all of us tells story everyday Another meaning of story is that it's a series of events that we either create by ourselves, remember or imagine.we create, we listen to stories because we want to know something and learn or answer questions and also draw a vital lessons from.

MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD STORY IS FROM THE BIBLE ABOUT A THIEF IN ANCIENT ISRAEL

The Israelites went to war in the city of Jericho and they were instructed by Jehovah through Joshua that all the silver, gold and articles of copper and iron was to be put in the treasury of Jehovah's house and that curse is the one who will takes any of the treasury for himself but one selfish man called Archan stole this costly things and he dug a hole and buried it in his tent so when the Israelites went to war with the Ai with 3,000 men 36 was struck down by the men of Ai and the remaining 2,964 men ran away so in the eveningJoshua went before the Ark of Jehovah knelt down and prayed so Jehovah answered him saying that the Israelites has violated his law and regulations and not done what he asked them to do that they took some of the devoted destruction. things, stole and secretly put them on their own possession that is why the Israelites won't be able to stand against their enemies instead they will flee and he told him to and sanctify the people, so an announcement was made that all the house of Israel was to assembled themselves in the morning and that the tribe thatJehovah selects will come Family by family and then household by household , so the tribe of Archan was chosen and he confessed all that he did to Joshua and those things that he has stolen were brought out from his tent and was returned into to the treasury ,but Archan and his house hold were stoned.to death because of their their disobedience to Jehovah.

WHAT I LEARNT FROM THE STORY

• Archans actions affected him and his family members as well as the whole nation of Israel so I learnt that I should be obedient to God and to my parents.

• I should report the wrong doing and anybody that practice uncleanliness wrong doing can bring defilement and God's disfavour upon the entire congregation and anyone who wants to be God's friend should be holy in conduct.

• I must exercise self discipline though we are imperfect and have the desire of the eyes and flesh.
  I should exercise self discipline with the look at the things I long for

• Ishould turn away from worthless things because Archan eyes led him to take what does not belong to him which led to the destruction of him and his entire family.

• stealing is very bad

HOW I LEARNT THE STORY

As I was saying the story must have the teller and the listener, the Bible says that all the things that was written long ago was for our own benefits, so my lovely parents especially my mum used the Bible to tell me a vital story that is not a fiction but true. She uses this Bible story to correct my wronged and it is of help to me, because this story and its lesson corrected my wrong desire right from my youth.

AT WHAT AGE DO I LEARN THE STORY

I will say that I learnt about this story when I was about 4years , and I did not stop learning about it till now, because I always tell other kid's then and now about this my favorite Bible story.and its lessons
