"Weekly Contest 06 || The Diary Game || Just another day in my life.

It was the 06th of June

Morning

This morning, I woke up really late. It was around 9:30 a.m. There was no rush as I did not have any special plans for the day. Usually, I start my day by drinking a glass of water. Without having my coffee in the morning, I don't feel my day has started. My body craves coffee in the morning to energize me. My baby drinks his milk while we have our Coffee.

After relaxing a bit with morning coffee, we split up for our work in the day. My husband got ready for work and meanwhile, I prepared breakfast for us. I made Rice noodles for us. It's easy and quick for mornings like today.

Once my husband left for work, I started feeding my baby. Feeding food to the baby is a real-time struggle. He is very picky and loves having sweets only. I try my best to make this time a happy time for him. Therefore, I don't forget to add something he loves to have for his meals.

After playing for some time with my baby. I bathed him and got him ready for his morning nap at about 11:30 a.m. I read him some picture books until he fell asleep.

Afternoon.

After putting my baby to sleep, I returned to my work. I felt too bored to cook lunch today, so I asked my husband to bring us lunch from a nearby restaurant. I used that time to do our laundry and organize our clothes in the cupboard. It was a great time for me to clear up some messy places in my home.

After all the cleaning, I felt exhausted. Then I rested for a while. By then, my baby was awake, and I gave him some screen time while I took some rest.

My husband was home for lunch. He bought us lunch from the nearby restaurant. This mixed rice cost him LKR 500, which is equal to 6.19 Steem. The portion is good but it had fewer curries.

After having lunch, we spent some time watching YouTube vlogs, and then I freshened up for a small drive in the evening.

Evening

In the evening, we went out with little Vihan for a small walk inside the university premises. Due to the strike of non-academic staff, there were no students. We were able to spend our evening leisurely enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the University.

At around 6:00 p.m., we went to our land to see the progress of the construction site. We spent some time there and returned home for dinner.

Night

After returning home, my first task was to keep offerings for the Lord Buddha. Once it was done I went to clean the kitchen. Then I got a wash and got into my PJs. I completed my little one's tasks and then it was time for my dinner. I prepared a fruit salad for dinner tonight. It feels great to have a super light dinner. The results are great when consuming less food. Then, it was time for me to do some self-care.
