Hope you're good. Iam doing good too and today I was excited that I heard the news that our schools are going to open so we can go back. However, it seems there are still many things the government needs to talk about and for us we are tired of being at home and not going to school. Thank God we are learning from this platform about another investment in our lives. Let me do this homework task.

What is Proof Of Brain and how does it work?

Proof Of Brain is where the blockchain system rewards users that contribute to the platform by discovering and rewarding valuable content through sharing, and curating articles. For instance Steem blockchain is both a social and smart platform as compared to other blockchains or social media platform. Such a system needs the proof of brain mechanism to evaluate the content produced on the platform, to enable quality content creation while using the resources of the reward pool.

The Proof Of Brain mechanism works through supporting people's independent wisdom or knowledge. If an article is considered to be of good quality, and also valuable, it can be upvoted using the reward pool. It can also be shared, or commented on.

Explain what curation is.

Curation is a way of rewarding valuable content on the platform where users evaluate and discover great content, and upvote it. This process is what is known as curation. Curation involves both upvoting or down voting where other users decide if the content should be rewarded. How much they add onto the post that is being voted de[pends highly on the Steem power of their account. By voting on articles, curators also get a share of the pay out along with the author. This share is always in SP.

• To curate, first discover a quality post that has not expired, check it for plagiarism and if it is free from it, upvote.

• To upvote, a user clicks o the upward facing button to add value to the article. It is important to note that voting should be done from 5 minutes after posting and not after 6 days and 12 hours because after that the vote wont have any monetary value.

• To down vote, a user clicks on the downward facing button to take value from the article.

How can we increase our Steem power?

To increase our Steem power we should:

• Create valuable content that will be curated and the rewards will be divided between SBDs, Steem Power, Curators, and TRX. When we are upvoted many times and with big accounts, our SP increases.

• Curate other users articles that we find valuable to us. Here we get a percentage upon pay out that goes direct to our Sp.

• Comment on other articles and create engagement on the platform. The comments usually take 100% SP.

What are the benefits of powering up?

Powering up is the process of changing your SBD to Steem and then trading the Steem and then powering it up into Steem Power. One can do this from the internal market in their wallet. Some of the benefits include;

• Powering up increases voting power. This means that the vote becomes more valuable when you curate other users articles.
• It Increases investment in the platform whereby the coins stay and circulate instead of being taken out of it. This makes the platform more valuable too.
• With a higher Steem Power, a user can delegate some of their Steem power and therefore help out other communities in their activities while earning some balances with the delegation.
• Powering up is like saving for the future. My aunt told me that when i power up, i am saving for my future in case i may need to use the balances in due time. I think @ngoenyi also told us that the first day i signed up. That's why i will power up alot.
