What I will do with the 500k SP Delegation

Hello steemians,
I'm @wasa2020 from Nigeria and I'm so happy to attempt the contest today organized in this community by @simonnwigwe. I also found this contest quite interesting and I wish to share what I will do if a delegation of 500k SP is given to me today.

Before we go into the questions, I will like to invite @okere-blessing, @ruthjoe, and @lhorgic to also join the contest.

If you are given a delegation of 500k SP, tell us what you will do with it.

This is indeed a tempting question because I'm certain that it won't be easy to see a user given such delegation. But let's forget the impossibilities and try answering the question.

Just like the community curators who are given the SCs account to perform curation, I checked and found out that all the accounts have a delegation of 500k except that of team million which is made up of 1 million SP.

From what I see, curators use to vote for 20 -30 articles daily. And if I'm given such an amount of SP, what I will do is vote on the same number of accounts daily for that period in which the account will be with me.

I will ensure I support as many as possible most especially those that don't get regular support from the platform and I believe that will help me to touch the lives of others more easily.

Will you continue blogging or you will only concentrate on curation? Justify your answer

If I have such a delegation, I will continue blogging and also posting on every one of the activities going on on the platform. I say this because I will love writing publications and I guess if I'm able to support another user to grow via the vote they too will vote on me.

So for the account, I will still perform the voting and also publish my articles. I can still earn curation rewards daily and also earn author rewards because I have done the work of an author.

I believe it's more beneficiary to blog and vote as you will earn two rewards i.e. author and curator rewards. In this way, I can easily grow my account faster.

Do you think a normal blogger just like you and I can achieve this milestone? Given the reason why or why not

Lol, I doubt if a normal blogger can ever achieve this milestone. 500k SP is a very big SP and that is why even the steemit team delegated it to the SCs account.

It is the stage that is called a whale in the steemit platform. I have not seen a blogger who got to that level via blogging. I believe achieving that will only be possible when we invest with our fiat currency in the platform.

If the delegation is to last a year, predict your growth at the end of the year on the platform based on the delegation.

Currently, I have just 100+ SP and I guess with a 500k SP delegation I can be earning about 1500 steem every month which means that at the end of the year, I should be able to earn 1,500 * 12 = 18,000.

So adding that to the amount of SP, I earn normally which will be about 1,000 steem, I will have a total of about 19,000 steem at the end of the year.

Hello @wasa2020, thank you for your wonderful contest entry on what you would do if given 500k SP. That's a whole lot of steem power that would give you so much without blogging. I appreciate what you would have done with the 500k SP if given you. Looking forward to seeing a time where you'll be selected as a community curator. Thanks for sharing ............
