"A visit to my steemian friend"

Introduction

Greetings sir @simonnwigwe and all the entire members of this noble community I'm here once again to take part in this lovely contest organized in this community on the topic "A visit to my steemian friend" today being the 6th of January 2023 I decided to pay a visit to one of my steemian friend here in Kwara State Ilorin Nigeria. And I must say that we had a good time together.

What is the name of the steemian you visited and what was the distance you covered to get to his/her place? If you paid for transport fare please give us the cost in steem.

The name of the steemian I visited today is Jerry Manga popularly known as @mjerry. Today happens to be my work off from work so I decided to visit him. We are staying in the same state but in different areas. He stayed at Basin and from my house to his place cost me 250 naira which is equivalent to 30 steem. I took a bike so that I won't be dropped at the junction just to get to his place.

What did you guys discuss most especially about the steemit platform?

We discussed this a lot because I found out that he is not active on the platform and he gave me some reasons for how his phone got spoiled and a lot more. While I was still at his place his friend came and meet us discussions about steemit platform and immediately he got interested in it so he asked me to explain to him how the platform works. With joy in my heart, I explained in detail how the platform works and he was interested we open an account for him, then I guided him on how to write his achievement one task. During the process, his phone went off and he promised me that he will complete it once he charge his phone. His username is @bensame2040.

What did this friend of yours offer you to eat or drink

Oooh my God 🤣 he cooked rice and fried eggs. When he brought the food I was like 'fried eggs with Jollof rice?'. Some men cooking are a real concussion. But never the less I ate the rice but I couldn't finish it then I took the drink he bought for me as well.

Do you think that more people in your area need to be aware of the steemit platform? How do you intend to promote it?

Ooh yes, more people need to know about steemit in my area, because I know how useful and educative the platform is so keeping it to myself is like selfishness. I have always tried my best to see that I promote steemit in my area and I must say that it has been fruitful all alone and I won't stop sharing the good news with the people in my area. For now, I have opened a WhatsApp group in which I guide people I recruited in the blog chain for better performance.

Visiting my friend was indeed a fruitful one and I'm so happy that I was able to introduce his friend to the platform as well.
