It's always a privilege for me to discuss my steemit journey with the world because I know how the platform has helped me since the day I joined and I also try my best to grow in the platform as well. before I go ahead with the question below I want to sincerely appreciate @simonnwigwe for organizing this amazing contest.
I first got to know about this very platform in January 2021 at Federal University Wukari through my friend and coursemate @simonnwigwe. When he informed me about the platform I never wanted to key into what he said because all my thoughts were different but in the long run, he sat me down and told me more about the platform then I decided to sign up on the 31st of January 2021.
The things learned on this platform are numerous but as the contest required I will be listing just a few of the things I learned;
Cooking
: We all know that I love cooking and one of the best things that makes me fullied is cooking, in some of the communities I joined I learned how to prepare different types of meals from different countries. Also, there are some dishes that I never know about but through this platform, I was able to learn how to prepare some meals even before I went to culinary school. Some of the meals I learned are; Omelet, smooth drinks, and others.HTML Language
: I studied computer science but I never had much interest in programming so I don't know much about the HTML language when I started steemit I got to learn more about how to apply the markdown using HTML language and I can say that I have learned much in that aspect.Recycling
: This is one of the best things I have learned on this platform because back then I never knew that one can recycle used items into beautiful things until I joined the platform then I began to learn more about recycling and I must say that it has helped me a lot to recycle some of the used items in my house.Writing
: I have learned how to write good and quality content and I have also learned how to arrange my words, use grammar, and also make use of plagiarism tools. To make sure that the content is well presented and unique.
Sure the platform has helped me financially and morally. When I joined the platform I was still a student who always depend on her parent for everything but immediately I started cashing out I began to assist myself and also supports my younger ones. It will interest you to know that the phone I'm using today is with the money I got here on this platform and I'm always grateful to be here.
Morally, I have learned how to be hard-working and consistent in whatever I do. Reading through others' articles makes me learn more and also encouraged me to do better with or without a vote. I have also learned how to be patient because it pays.
If I should rate my growth in the platform since I joined I will give myself 85.5% because back then I was not that consistent with powering up but since the initiative of clubs I stood my ground and decided to power up as well. Sometimes if I see people that I joined the platform with them celebrating their dolphin status, I will be like “peace you played a lot”. But currently, I'm trying my best and I know I will continue powering up.
In the aspect of relationships, indeed I have come to encounter numerous users whom I call friends now, not just that I have also learned a lot from them.
growth | 90% |
---|---|
power up | 85.5℅ |
Relationships | 100% |
learned | 95.5% |
In conclusion, steemit has been one and the only best platform for me and I have never regretted being part of this loving family. Gradually I'm growing strong and I believe with hard work and dedication I will grow stronger. All thanks to my solace for introducing me to this steemit. I invite @temitopef @ishayachris and @jasminemery to come and participate.
