"April Fool's Day prank"|| by @yakspeace

Hello dear kids and kids lovers, here comes another day for me to participate in this amazing contest organized by @drhira on the theme ”April Fool's Day prank" oooh yes the April Fool's Day prank has been in existence before now, and since then, many people plays different pranks on their love once. This days, in Nigeria people don't usually wait for April to play pranks on people because it has become another means of generating income for themself and to get followers on social media.

Oooh yes, I was once fooled in the year 2019 by my elder brother. Hmm, what happens?

One faithful day I was at home cooking while my mum went to the office and my brother went to school. When I was done cooking I took my bath and I was watching television series with my friend Eunice. I was called by my brother's line telling me that he had an accident on his way coming back home from school. Immediately I asked the person where they took him and he said he was taken to the general hospital.

I jumped up and went to the hospital, with my friend reaching there we asked for the emergency word because that was my first time visiting the hospital. We asked but they said they did not bring any patients with such names.

I started crying and I called my mum but her line was not going through so I called back my brothers line and the guy said they took him to a private clinic because there were many patients at the general hospital and they said they won't attend to them. I asked for the name of the clinic and he directed us.

Reaching there my brother was nowhere to be found I was seriously crying but my friend was there with me, all of a sudden they called and said if I want to see my brother I should come to the eatery close to the clinic. Reaching there hummmm, you won't believe what I saw.

I saw my Brother with his friends eating and drinking chill wine,😒 reaching there, they all shouted April fool. That was when I remember that it was the first of April. The whole scenario was so annoying, he made me cry and even jump from one hospital to another. But lastly, he bought chicken and rice for me and my friend to ease the tension.😂

As I mentioned earlier, reaching the eatery that was when I realized that my brother and his friends pranked me. He knows so well that I don't want anything to happen to him even though he is not my blood brother but my mother took him in since his parent died. Seriously, I was so angry knowing it was a prank but it has happened already and there is nothing I can do about it. They apologies and I enjoyed the chicken and rice he bought for us.😁

Chaai🙉 the experience was not good at all, because I felt somehow that day. Receiving a call that your loved one had an accident seriously it's not funny. I was so worried and my problem that day was just to see him and lastly, I saw him enjoying himself with his friends.

While I was asking him, he said it was his friend's idea because he told me that I loved him and I will never allow anything to happen to him then they decided to test me since it was the first of April. The way I was jumping and running to the hospital, that day I nearly went out without shoes if not for my friend who was there with me I could have gone to the hospital bear footed. I was indeed fooled that day and won't forget that day in worry.

In Conclusion, April Fool's is one the best day numerous people are being pranked but as for me since my brother and his friend pranked me I use to be very conscious of 1st April so that I won't be a victim again.
