Week #15, drawing contest of a pig, by @yakspeace

Greatings to all the lovely stemains of @steemkids community. Another week has come for me to showcase my skill in the weekly Drawing contest organized by this community and @eliany. The previous week was grate and i believe this week will be more better because, i always learn alot from this weekly drawing contest.

Describe a pig 🐖

Pig is a wild or domestic swine mammal from a suidae family. Pig actually refers to all the domestic swine but in the United States they are called younger swine when they are not yet ready for market. They have stout-bodies, two small eyes, two ears, short legs, short neck and one tail.

The pig are known as the smartest animals on Earth,they are very intelligent than the dogs and even some primates. Pigs are very clean animals because they always keep their toilet far from their living and feeding area and the communicate with each other with their grunts. The newborn pigs are called piglets, they learn how to run from their mothers and the mothers communicate to her piglets through her grunts.

Pig are very social animals because, they form close bonds with each other and with other species. Some of the pigs like to cuddle up close, especially at low temperature. Pig eat different types of mixed feed, but they their bulk of diet mostly come from corn and soybeans. They corn is a source of energy to them while the soyabean is a source of protein. They pigs Also eat tuber crops, vegetable, fresh food and some grains like the sorghum.

What qualities does pigs 🐖 have?

They pig have numerous qualities, among which are:

pig are very intelligent and smart
pigs are very neat animals
Pig have long memories,to the extent they can remember things that happen year ago.
pigs are very friendly and social to themselves and to other species.
pigs have affiliative behavior and they can communicate with their grunts
pigs uses their behavior to control their body temperature or thermoregulate.
they also have powerful noses

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

Yes I have seen one before at my uncle's farm when I went to visit him in my home town, he has plenty pigs and he use them for his business.

Are they important to man?

Pigs are very important to man because they are used as source of food in the world. Pigs generate more income to their owners, because one of the coolest Business in Nigeria is the pig farming. They people uses some part of their body to mark leather, glue, and brush, mostly their years and they are also used to make several medicine.
