Hello everyone. It’s another blessed day, and I hope we all are doing great. Speaking of arts, it is one beautiful thing that hardly anyone can pass by without having a second thought about it. To be honest, I grew up not liking anything that had to do with drawings.
I would be specific about this because I have a drawing to share with us today. It was boring for me, and a waste of time some years back. Instead, I grew up with so much passion for writing creative stories, instead.
But today, my field of study has not just made me to like drawings, but to appreciate and criticise any work of art, of which drawings are more important. Recently, I had an assignment where we were asked to make drawings of the different hardware components of the computer.
As a learner in drawings, I found it a bit difficult to do the drawings, but I scaled through anyways. Apart from doing my assignments, I found out anyone could do anything if only their best is put into making this thing successful. In the process, I was happy I could sketch something to actually make it recognisable. If I was consistent in this area, I would’ve been much better by now, but all the same, I’m grateful for where I am today.
To begin with, I had to sketch carefully each of the components so I could follow the lines when making the actual drawings later. I had to erase multiple times though, but I learned not to give up, and in the course, consistency gave me the needed results.
I was able to draw different parts of the computer(some), and I would say I didn’t expect it at all. All I needed were a pencil, an eraser and a ruler. I was pleased with myself that I had to take pictures of myself while doing it. It was a great motivation for me.
I’d like to thank @steemkidss for organising such an amazing contest. I hope to continue with the other topics for the remaining days off the week.
I’d like to invite @anthony002, @bela90, and @ahbaz to participate in this contest.
Thanks for reading through.
You gave it a try despite not having a flair for art and that is commendable. Your sketches look neat. With frequent practice, you will get better at it.
Well done, Yhudy.
