With the connection getting better (misfortune in fortune, because I needed higher speed for Fallout since it is 2x Skyrim ahah) I decided to take advantage of this and download Skyrim Special Edition, technically smoother than the original version and with, sometimes, drop of free mods from the Creation Club. Unluckily in this version at least, there aren't many "normal" mods, not even some extra weapons so we will play it vanilla.
Also, Survival Mode.
I LOVE Argonians, and always try to play as one. Even when I shouldn't, like in this case because y'know, cold blood doesn't go well with the not-so-warm lands of Skyrim but hei, at least we can eat raw food without getting sick! Yay!
I really love this mode. But maybe I shouldn't play a floppin lizard in a frigid land
A lot of blas blas later I'm finally able to settle down and fill my pockets with some free food, drinks and a bed always available for me even in a kinda remote zone like the starting one. Also, a fire to warm my old bones.
In case you don't know how the Survival works:
- You can get tired by walking, running, fighting and therefore need a bed in which to rest and level up (you cannot level up outside the slep); not doing so will reduce the magika bar and the regeneration of magika and stamina
- Hunger will reduce the maximum stamina and make every action cost more
- The cold will reduce your maximum health
So we always need to carry food, drinks, know where to find a bed and equip items with a good insulation.
Cabbage stew for the win and gods may bless Gerdur for giving free access to her home to a complete stranger rambling about flying relatives of them
Cabbage stew and salmon are the best food I can think of in this scenario since they are quite easy to get, and it makes me sad because I hate cabbage in real life so it creates a really strange relationship.
Oh, also Inns are something we would visit very often since the first house is extremely expensive for a poor argonian prisoner.. who's going to be even poorer because of how much the inn is going to cost
Saadia is going to disappear very soon, she stands between me and free food
And so, a very harsh version of Skyrim awaits, with its beauts, uglies and everything in between. It is probably going to take a while before I'll be able to report anything new, but y'know Skyrim is always something worth talking about.
And you, do you talk often about Skyrim? Do you play Survival as well?
Mountains, farms and cats. Perfect.
So it is PvE game?
