POEM FROM ‘NO MAN’S SKY’
A landing station, late at night,
Illuminated by floodlights,
Sees a ship come into land,
Amongst the parched and cracking sand.
Explorers dwell in the buildings there,
And merchants come to sell their wares,
Bounty found out there in space,
And trafficked to this particular place.
The cargo hold of the ship is filled,
And it takes off as though it’s willed,
By a desire to explore space,
It’s occupants leave this desert place.
