Hello everyone, I am Eri and today I will review a fantastic game. The game that I’ll review is “Persona 4 Golden”. Persona 4 Golden is the enhanced version of persona 4. The game was released for PlayStation Vita in 2012 and Windows in 2020. Persona 4 Golden is a role-playing video game developed and published by atlus. This game takes place in a fictional japanese countryside and is indirectly related to earlier Persona games.
Persona 4 Golden takes place in Inaba, which lies among floodplains and has its own high school and shopping district. The protagonist is a high school student, named by the player, who has recently moved from the city to attend school at inaba. A few days into the game, unexplained murders take place in inaba where bodies are found hanging from television antennas and their cause of death being unknown. The protagonist and his friends follow the midnight channel rumor, which leads them to discover the TV World and clue to solve the unexplained murders.
Persona 4 Golden add new character and new features such as riding motorcycles, two new social links, access to okina city and shichiri beach, new persona, gardening, character outfits, expanded spoken lines, anime cutscenes, and additional story. This game also add some features such as still can go work even it’s raining, can hangout with friend on night.
What I liked from this game :
- This game allow player to fast-forward dialogues, it’s good feature for a new game plus.
- Custom difficulty, this feature allow player to set the damage given, exp gained, or gold gained which is make the game more enjoyable.
- Persona 4 Golden allow you to choose which skill you want to inherit when fuse persona, this feature really useful it’s make a lot easier to fuse strong persona.
- The story is well written and easy to understand.
- The pace is decided by player, you can clear dungeon in one day or several day. You can grind until you overpower or you can rush to finish it, it’s up to you.
- Great soundtrack, especially when january the city background song is really great.
Conclusion, Persona 4 is already a great game and this enhance version makes it much better. Persona 4 Golden add a lot features that cover Persona 4 weakness. This game is really recommended for people who loves RPG game with good story. For people who never play persona game, you can start it by playing this game. It’s really recommended.
