I was trying to mess up this game bad and I succeeded!! I'm using game editor to hack the game rom to make some interesting moments and glitches! I made so Mecha Sonic shows up in Hidden Palace Zone. I wondered what would happen if you defeated him in this zone! Would it go to the end? I was able to engage the ending sequence once Mecha Sonic was defeated. Man was it messed up!!
In this video the game gets brighter every time Mehca Sonic powers up. So much so that the whole screen goes white and you can't see sonic! I was able to get past after a long time. Then died haha
This other video is similar but the screen doesn't go bright! I beat Mecha Sonic and it has a real glitched end where the airplane just flies through the level but you don't get to the ending
It's a weird glitch 'cause Mecha Sonic is unpredictable and goes way out of the screen to power up
In this last video I use debug to make object so you don't fall down. After awhile of fighting Mecha Sonic the game glitches and resets!! I eventually fall down the hole to fight Mecha Sonic awhile
I will do more to this game as time goes on, then eventually I want to do a full play through
