this was the most difficult game I ever completed in my entire life. I had it on NES though although I am sure it was just as difficult on Sega.

    I think you are talking about Ghost'n Goblins, the prequel. And yes, this one is really hard, even in the NES port.

      ah yes, you are correct. I am speaking of the prequel. I played them both and finished one of them. Once I saw that the 2nd installment (as well as a recent 3rd one) was difficult as hell on purpose, I never really bothered to try to conquer the later installments.
