Wheat crops season
Harvesting is the process of collecting ripe crops from the fields. Cutting, chopping, usually using a scythe, sickle or reaper for harvesting grain or lentils. [1] In small fields with minimal mechanization, harvesting is the most labor intensive activity of the growing season. In large mechanized fields, harvesting uses the most expensive and sophisticated farm machinery, such as combine harvesters. Process automation has increased the efficiency of both sowing and harvesting processes. Special cutting equipment that uses a conveyor belt to grip the equipment gently and mimic mass transport and replaces the manual work of removing each anchor by hand.
In common usage, the term "pruning" may include immediate post-harvest handling, which includes cleaning, sorting, packing and cooling.
The completion of the harvest marks the end of the growing season, or the growing season of a particular crop, and the social significance of this event makes it the focus of seasonal celebrations such as the Festival of Crops, found in many religions.
