Crafting of a Colorful Fish

Explanation

---

Today, I am excited to share a colorful fish craft made with clay. Without further delay, let’s take a look at how I created it.

Step 01

First, I gathered all the necessary materials. Then, I took blue clay in the desired quantity. I shaped it into an oval form initially. After that, I tried to shape it into a slightly larger fish-like form. Using a clay cutter, I carefully cut the front part to shape the head and then sculpted the mouth.

Step 02

Next, I took some more blue clay and shaped it into the tail. I attached the tail to the back of the fish and added texture to it by drawing lines using the cutter.

Step 03

	Attached It's fin

Then, I shaped another piece of blue clay into a long strip and pressed it to form the fish's fin. I attached this fin to the upper part of the fish. Afterward, I made another small fin with clay and placed it on the lower side. As you can see in the picture, the fish shape is now complete.

Step 04

Now, I began designing the fish’s upper body. For this, I used pink clay. I shaped the pink clay into different patterns and attached them to the upper part of the fish’s body.

Step 05

Using the clay cutter, I designed to the fins. Then, I used another piece of blue clay, flattened it, and designed it further. I adjusted this on top of the pink patterns on the fish’s body.

Step 06

	Eyes

Next, I took a small amount of white and black clay to make the eyes. Then, I placed the eyes on the upper part of the fish's head.

Step 07

With my Tiny Fish craft

After completing the colorful fish craft, I captured a selfie with it.
