Dogs are domestic animals which are descendants of a wolf. They are also called domestic dogs. Today there are over 100 breeds of dogs.
Domestic dogs are mostly kept as pets. When they are cared for properly and treated with respect, they can be incredibly loving, playful, and intelligent companions.
Dogs are bred to perform certain functions such as herding, hunting, and retrieving. Other functions of a dog include service, therapy, etc. Domestic dogs also serve as a source of food (meat)
The dangers of having a dog
Through their saliva, dogs can spread bacterial and viral illnesses. If a dog bites you or its saliva goes into your nose, mouth, or eyes, there can be transmission of illnesses.

Materials used in drawing the dog

1. A4 paper

2. Pencil

3. Razor blade

4. Eraser

5. Cotton wool

Steps of drawing the dog

Step 1.

I started by first drawing the nose, after the nose, I drew the two ears, the forehead and then the stop of the dog

Step 2

I shaded the nose, the eyebrow and one of the eyes was also drawn. I also shaded somewhere close to the eye to separate the eye from the nose.

Step 3

Here, I continue with the shading. I shaded the region around the second eye. I also shaded the neck to help separate the head from the neck and the body. I shaded the ear and drew the eye lead of one of the eyes.

Step 4

I draw the second eye lead and shape the entire body of the dog to make it black. I shaded the nose very well to bring out its beauty

Step 5

In this step, I shaded over the entire dog again to make it look darker and I drew the hair around the nose and mouth of the dog.
