Hallo friends, stemians, today I will share a photo of an animal that is said to be mystical, namely the turtle dove
Birds are animals that live in the air with their wings they fly around the ceiling, as aerial animals we often encounter birds that can also dive looking for prey, but today we will discuss the Myth of the Turtle Dove
The turtle dove itself is a favorite pet for some people, including in my own family. My father was very happy with the turtle dove so he kept a turtle dove. It is said that this turtle dove has a myth that circulates among the people, especially the people of Jogja.
Come on... let's discuss the myth about the turtle dove. The turtle dove is a prehistoric bird in the story of the last king of Majapahit, namely King Brawijaya V. King Brawijaya V was the last king of Majapahit. The king had a passion for keeping many birds of various types, one of his favorite turtle doves was called Jaka Mangu.
Jaka Mangu, the dove that the king owned, often sang with the sound "hur kekukuk yoke kuk kuk yoke" a sound that is very typical among doves. But one day Jaka Mangu, the king's bird, escaped from its cage, the king found out...the king was sad. The king ordered his soldiers to look for Jaka Mangu because Jaka Mangu had not come home for a month, but the soldiers did not find him, which made the king even more anxious and had difficulty sleeping.
One night he heard the voice of a bird ordering the king to go west, the king was very sure that the voice came from the voice of Jaka Mangu. The king went with his dog and disguised himself as a commoner with the name Ki Dipanala. After investigating, Jaka Mangu turned out to be looked after by Ki Ageng Paker. Ki Ageng Paker was a religious figure who was blind and often helped local residents.
On the king's journey, the king heard the sweet voice of Jaka Mangu at Ki Ageng Paker's house so the king stopped by meeting Ki Ageng Paker and then offered to buy the bird while he told him that he had gone looking for his lost bird, but Ki Ageng gently refusing to sell it, the king went straight home.
A few weeks later, a group of Majapahit soldiers arrived, they came to deliver gifts from the king containing large amounts of gold and jewels. Suddenly Ki Ageng was shocked that the person who met him a long time ago was a king... Ki Ageng became even more prosperous and the turtle dove turned out to be the incarnation of a Prince of Pajajaran.
The message we get is that the dove is a bird that brings good luck in the form of abundant sustenance, well-being and a symbol of a man's maturity.
That's all my fiction story
