Assalamu'alaikum wr wb
hello all stemians friends, how are you today?
I hope you all to be witness... aamiin
This time we tried an approach with a stray cat around the house, a cat who is spoiled as if he is charming but can be seen from the aura on his face that he is indeed charming without a master...what a pity!!!
There are two hadiths exemplified by Aisyah, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, and Abu Qatadah Radhiyallahu anhu about affection for cats:
From Kabsyah bint ka'ab bin Malik (daughter-in-law of Abu Qatadah), that she once prepared ablution water for Abu Qatadah, then a cat came and drank from it, cursing him (Abu Qatadah) tilting the vessel for the cat until he finished drink. Kabsyah said: he saw me when I was watching him, so he asked, 'Are you surprised, O my brother's daughter?, I answered, yes. He (Abu Qatadah) said, Rasulullah SAW once said, "Indeed (saliva) cats are not unclean, because they are among the animals that always surround (live interacting) with you" (HR. ABu Daud, No. Hadith 68, AtTaharah book , chapter su'ru al-Hirrah)
Rasulullah SAW said, "Indeed (saliva) cats are not unclean, they are among the animals that always interact with you. And I once saw Rasulullah SAW performing ablution with the water left over from cat licks. (HR Abu Daud, No. Hadith 69, book A -Thaharah, chapter su'ru al-hirrah)
From the hadith above, it is true that cat saliva is not unclean and also the love of friends for cats. Therefore, we should love cats wherever they are, in fact they are also very sensitive to supernatural things, so sometimes if a cat comes close, it could be that they will protect us from these supernatural things.
We will share some of the cat photos that we captured here, enjoy.
That is all and thank you
