Assalamualaikum animal lovers..
This morning I spent time in the backyard to hunt for small animals and insects with my cellphone camera and macro lens. The dew puddles were still visible on the leaves and branches. Several insects also seemed to enjoy this morning by flying from one branch to another.
I managed to photograph several insects. But what caught my attention was a Red Soldier Beetle or in scientific language called Rhagonycha fulva. This animal has a reddish yellow color and black wings on the tips. What's interesting about this animal is a pair of antennae attached to the tip of its head.
Towards the afternoon I took my daughter to the soccer field in my village to watch the independence day celebration. Today there is a children's competition sponsored by the village head and his staff.
There are several activities that are competed such as eating crackers and carrying marbles with a spoon using the mouth. The large number of visitors who came showed that the community's enthusiasm was very high in making today's event a success.
Although the prizes distributed are not too big, but with this kind of event can provide its own entertainment for the community.
This event also provides a blessing for snack vendors. Several vendors also appear to be selling various snacks and drinks.
After watching the independence celebration for about an hour, I finally continued my journey to the city of Krueng Geukuh. While the weather was quite bright this afternoon I took advantage of it to take a walk with my family.
It's been several weeks since I took my daughter to a children's play area. This afternoon I took advantage of it to accompany her to play in the "ball pool" play area. In addition, there was also a "fishing" game and a "odong-odong" game.
Because the weather was starting to get cloudy and the sun would soon set on the horizon, I ended this game. I immediately left the city of Krueng Geukuh after buying a plastic bag of banana molen.
