I happen to be the only in my family who doesn’t like pets. But growing up with them I learned to love them the hard way because I was left with no choice. I was in junior secondary school when I had my first pet. Pets are companions, and they have a lot of benefits. They give emotional support when they want you to play with them, the dog wags its tail. They also encourage exercise.
I remembered a moment back then. I and my family with the dogs go for an outdoor exercise, and it was fun.

I have three dog breeds: German Shepherd, Boerboel, and Eskimo. These dogs are so wonderful. As the owners, they are calm and protective. Among the three I have, I choose Eskimo as my favorite. Their fluffy appearance and cute look captured my heart. It has a fox-like face and an expressive eye. They have a lively personality and are easily trainable. I have closer relationships with my Eskimo than with other breeds.

They serve as a security guard. Aside from the eskimos, my dogs are always released at night in the compound to chase thieves from coming close to the house and are always carried around, especially at night, for protection.
They form strong bonds with humans.

My dogs (German shepherds) have their separate houses at the back of my house. We made the place so comfortable for them to stay, play, eat, and sleep.
I have their drugs for any emergency and antibacterial soap to prevent them from bacteria’s. I bathe them once a week and feed them daily.
