Catpocalypse - What if cats ruled the world?

Hello guys! Do you know that feeling when you can’t sleep, and your mind starts tossing random thoughts at you? One sleepless night, a peculiar question popped into my head: What if cats ruled the world?

Imagine waking up one morning, like any other day. You get up, go through your morning routine, and go to your car. You start the engine, turn on the radio, and—surprise! You hear Habanera from George Blitz’s opera... sung by a cat! Switching to another station, you’re greeted by some hardcore death metal, but the only thing you can hear out is a loud MEOW.

“Weird,” you think, but as you pull out of the driveway, your jaw drops. Dozens of cats are gracefully strutting down the middle of the street like they own the place—which, apparently, they do. You can’t drive any further because one of them flops down right in your way, blinking slowly and rolling from side to side.

Left with no choice, you continue on foot. You begin to notice that trees now resemble massive cat towers, and tall buildings are equipped with ramps for cats to climb wherever they want. The playground? The sandbox is definitely no longer for kids—it’s been repurposed for feline use.

You keep walking and come across a billboard featuring a cat advertising an automatic vacuum cleaner. Those hilarious videos of cats riding Roombas? They’re now a lifestyle.

Suddenly, a police officer stops you and asks, “Where’s your cat?” You admit you don’t have one, and he escorts you away. As you pass by, you see a massive statue of Garfield towering over the city. The journey ends in a park with a large fountain, where cats are happily drinking from the streams of water. Surrounding you, in a meadow of catnip, people are busy entertaining their cats lords—petting them, cuddling them, playing with them.

You realize the world has slowed down. Everything feels lazy and drowsy. Then the officer breaks the silence: “Look, that one just chose you,” he says, pointing at a huge black cat with big eyes staring directly at you. The cat strides toward you and brushing against your legs.

You glance at the officer in panic. “Is this my life now?”
