Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to participate in the second week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge session14 in the Steem for Animals community. Where we are asked to write about our favorite pets. Who doesn't want to have a pet at home? Today I will introduce you to my pets through this contest.

What is your favorite pet? Give your reasons

My favorite pet is the cat. The reason for this is that they are very gentle, affectionate, calm, friendly. I've been fostering cats since 2012. I know what their nature is like. However, each cat's temperament is different. My cats are calm. Seeing the look in their eyes full of peace makes me feel very mesmerized. And for so many years I have nurtured my cats as my own children, which makes them part of my family.

And to be honest, my first adopted street cat I have kept very carefully till date. The cat you see on the right is the first cat I ever pet. Her name is Bonnie. He has a very calm nature. This pet has been with me for over 10 years. Cats are peaceful creatures. who spend most of their time sleeping. Basically, their cuteness and calm nature create love in my heart and my whole family.

I have a total of three pet cats. One is ten years old and the remaining two are four years old. All my pet cats are male. The cat that is the biggest is the quietest. His only job is to eat and sleep on time. In other words, my ten years old cat sleeps all day long. Then there are four years old pet cats. Those who play at home all day because they are of the same age.

In fact, it is very difficult to take pictures of my cats together. But when I got this opportunity I took this picture. I always try to take good care of my pet three cats despite my busy schedule. Because I am the only one responsible for taking care of them. But my sister takes care of them while I am at office.

Taking care of beloved pets is like taking a responsibility upon yourself. Because the love for the animals increases the responsibility towards them. If I talk about the care of my pets, I will first say that I do not have any restrictions on it. I am presenting an example of it below.

• Vaccines : First of all I have vaccinated my pet cats. Because only the vaccine can protect animals from various flu. I give my cats a 1-year vaccination every year. Since it's winter season, cats are currently 100% more likely to get the winter flu. So I get the vaccination done as soon as the period ends.

• Comfortable Environment : Since cats are comfort-loving, I try to create a comfortable environment for them to sleep in. I got the cats used to sleeping on the pillow when they were little. That's why I bought small pillows from the market for them.

So that they can sleep comfortably. Also I used to buy blankets for them during winter. So that my pets can be protected from the winter. Because they don't want to get dressed.

• Sufficient food : The food of pets is really important. I always pay attention to the food of my pet cats. I stock up on their food before the food runs out. And I give them food every 3 times. Also arrange water along with it. So that cats do not have any difficulty in drinking water.
