What is your favorite fable, Give your reasons why?

My favorite fable story is The story of The Hare and The Tortoise. This story was explained to me very well by my father when I was a child. The habit of reading stories is from my childhood. The story of the Hare and the Tortoise taught me more than any other fable I had ever read.

The story is basically about a race between the hare and the tortoise. At the beginning of the story the rabbit was sleeping under a tree. the turtle was walking slowly in front of him. In the meantime when the rabbit woke up and saw the tortoise walking like this he started mocking the tortoise. And he said to the turtle, why do you walk like an old man, being young? To this Tortoise says he walks like this and he has no problem with it. Hearing this, the rabbit offered the tortoise a race.

In the middle of starting the competition, when the hare overtook the tortoise and came far, he thought that the tortoise would not be able to beat him. So take a rest before he comes closer. He fell asleep to let the rabbit rest and this time the turtle reached its destination and won. And the rabbit loses. The reason for this defeat of the rabbit is his overconfidence. The main reason I like this fable is the turtle's persistence. Because the tortoise knew he could never win with the rabbit. But still he continued to work. Because with patience and persistence, success will come.

Did the fairy tale teach you anything did it influence in your life?

Yes I have learned a lot from fables. I think it has had a good influence on my life. We can learn from the tortoise as well as from the hare. What I have learned from the story of the hare and the tortoise and how it has affected my life I have presented below :

  • First is the overconfidence of the rabbit which is likely to lead to many losses in our human life and on the other hand like the tortoise if we stick to achieving success in our life then success will surely come one day.

  • We should not only rely on our own strength but show intelligence in our journey in life. for which the hare lost. And on the other hand will always look for the weakness of the competitor and act accordingly as the turtle was doing.

  • We have to abandon laziness in our daily life. Today, because of the hare's laziness, he lost to the tortoise, who was less fast than him. Therefore, we must give up laziness and bring dynamism in life.

  • Like a turtle, we need a lot of perseverance and patience in life. Because today, due to the persistence and patience of the turtle, he wins an impossible competition. This teaching has had a significant impact on my life. The gist of this story is that if one's goals are fixed then any success can be achieved through perseverance and patience.

How many fables have you heard through them? Mention some titles that are still fresh in your memory.

I have heard many kinds of fiction from my father and also read different kinds of fiction in my school books. These were all educational for us. It teaches us various principles to lead our life in the right direction. And we can apply those lessons in our life and achieve success.
Among the many fables I have in my memory, I have presented my favorites below:

  • The Story of the Shepherd and the Tiger.
  • The Lion and the Mouse.
  • Belling the Cat.

Now that you've become a father or mother to your children, or if you're a sister and aunt, will you tell them your story? What fables do you tell often and why?

Although I am not yet married so I sometimes tell my sister's son the above fables. My sister's son listens very attentively and wants to understand the stories. However, at this age, they do not have the ability to understand the essence of the story. Yet these stories of children take them to a different world like a fairy tale. Which makes them very interested in listening to their stories.

Some of my favorite stories are the ones I tell the most. For example: the hare and the tortoise and the shepherd and the tiger. I have seen these stories are very popular and every kid loves these two fables. I call the hare and the tortoise fable because it contains examples of perseverance and patience and the shepherd and the tiger fable because it teaches us that lying is not good. Always walk in the path of truth.
