Are you a cat keeper or are you a cat lover? Tell us !

I was a cat keeper; now I have no pet, but I'm still a cat lover. My kids want to keep cats as pets, but I don't allow them due to my allergies. I'm severely affected by the fur of cats, so I don't want any pets in my home. I have thirteen pigeons that we are keeping in cages on my roof, so it doesn't affect me.

My kids love cats. In my family, my mother, my aunt, my cousin, my brother-in-law and my sisters-in-law all have beautiful cats. I play with cats, and my daughter always says, Why don't you allow us to keep them?I refused every time.

Do you think Cats are unconditional friends? Give your reasons!

Cats really loving animals. It loves to sit beside you, and it wants love from you. If you love a cat, it will move around you by touching you. It makes you a friend, it understands what you want to say, and it obeys your order. It's purely human-friendly.

As I have experience keeping cats, I'm aware of the unconditional love of cats as friends. It lives with you like a family member. It becomes angry at you when you don't play with it or don't give them time. They are really your friends.

`What is your understanding and effort

regarding animal welfare for cats?`

I live ina country where there is no welfare for humun at the government level, so I can't say there is any understanding or effort regarding animal welfare for cats. In my country, people help others by themselves. In a similar way, some people take care of animals on the street nearby.

Due to the lack of resources in the country, there is no welfare for animals. In my street, there are a lot of cats living. Kids give them food some time, but mostly they find their food in trash or our food leftovers.

Are there myths that develop in your community about cats? Share with us

Yes, there is a myth about cats in our region that if a black cat crosses you and you are going for some work, it will be a sign of bad luck. The work will not be completed, or you will face failure in your task or mission. It's become a proverb in our language.

In our religion, this kind of thinking is considered completely wrong. All good and bad things only happen because of Allah. It's our Eman.
