The Serendipitous Cat Tale: Melted by the Fluffy Cuteness - 2

I solemnly swear that I have never seen a stray cat like it. I just gently touched the top of its head, and it rolled over on the spot, showing its belly to me. I have never kept a cat before, but I could also tell that it was incredibly gentle and well-behaved, with no trace of wariness or aggression.

My boyfriend bought food back at this time, and we fed the cat there together. It must be very hungry, eating very quickly. I knew I should say goodbye to it, even though it's very likable, but at that time, I had absolutely no intention of adopting it. Because my dog, although big in size, is very timid. As everyone knows, most cats will attack dogs and scratch their faces with their claws, leaving them bleeding. Of course, I don't want such a thing to happen. There's another reason, that is, neither my boyfriend's parents nor I like cats very much. They think cats are not easy to tame and may hurt people, unlike dogs, who are always loyal to their owners.

We left the food in place and then left (at that time, we had turned around and headed home). While waiting at the traffic light, I glanced in the direction of the cat and found that it was actually following us from a distance, keeping a distance of about 20 meters. This is a situation I have never encountered before, does it want to come home with us?

I gestured for my boyfriend to look, and he was also surprised. He asked about my thoughts and what to do now. Should we take it home? Should we take care of it? Are we ready to be responsible for a cat? Such questions, we are all in a dilemma.

Everyone knows that feeding stray cats and raising a pet cat at home are definitely different. If we adopt it, we are responsible for its entire life, whether it's regular care or nursing it when it's sick, we need to take it seriously. My boyfriend and I are not the kind of people who would abandon pets. If we take it home, it will become a member of our family.

People can be very contradictory sometimes, like me. I want to adopt it and don't want to adopt it at the same time. I don't know what to do, I didn't want to make any decisions at that time. My boyfriend said let's go, I didn't want to talk, my boyfriend said let's adopt it, I still didn't want to talk, and we waited for more than 10 minutes at the traffic light in the same place.

Finally, I waved at the cat, and I told it, "Follow us, come with me. If you can come back with us to the community, I'll take you home." Yes, I have become so desperate that I have given the power of choice to a stray cat, and I am too conflicted.

To be continued...
