Hello?
The HPL Community Chicken Event has come to a close.
There weren't many participants. :)
Nevertheless, there were many lessons learned, and by listening to other people's voices, I could understand the current atmosphere of Steem.
It's regrettable that I should have made the event fun and without burdens. I wonder if I asked slightly weighty questions. Also, there was a lack of proactive, entertaining, and consistent promotion.
Still, as it was the first event, I hope it will be viewed with a forgiving heart.
As there weren't many participants, we didn't conduct a public vote and selected manually. Among those who gave their opinions, some were not HPL members.
Due to the small number of participants, we will provide 50 Steem to those who answered the subjective questions without a first place. With gratitude, we will give 5 Steem to everyone who left their opinions.
Event Results
- 1st Place: -
- 2nd Place: Bitai, Feelsogood (50 Steem)
There are those who provided an answer but did not list an ID. If you provide an ID, we will award you with 5 Steem.
We will deliver the prizes to the two winners by early November for participating. Thank you for your participation.
Opinions
Like a place where people who want to someday write their book, just as the name "Library" suggests, it would be nice to write something like a Light eBook. Of course, it will need enticing books, and I think it's not an easy problem to solve how to make them enticing.
It would be good to have events that encourage writing on specific topics to give HPL its own identity.
I would like to issue NFTs.
Rather than overthinking, I prefer smaller events.
Where to Go From Here
- We will consider ways to comfortably write short-to-medium pieces like Light eBooks, set topics for writing, and provide rewards.
- We will occasionally hold small events that can bring joy to daily life.
- We will consider creating an NFT Collection, providing some benefits to early members (Early Bird), and exploring the possibility of releasing it to the market.
To start the event and to promote the event, I visited both the Korean and English Communities. Overall, the atmosphere of the Steem Community was quiet, and the number of members who post actively and regularly seemed lower than before.
The Korean Community had as many attempts, disputes, and pains as its past glory and long history(?). Due to these past events and hurts, many members with affection and abilities have left. Overall, it seems that many people are more passive and quieter compared to before.
In the foreign Community, except for long-term active OBs, it feels like the number of people making meaningful posts is much lower than before. It's regrettable that the focus on improving and developing Steem is not clear, and efforts and intentions seem to lead to isolated outcomes.
Next time, we'll have another event to enjoy together. Have a pleasant remaining week.
