Animal migration refers to the natural movement involving the seasonal, large-scale movement of animals and their persistence to the defined habitats. Latex justify this movement to necessary for food, reproduction or favorable climate conditions. The migrations are common among birds, mammals, fishes, and insects.
For example, during springtime, rising temperatures cause some animals such as birds or butterflies to migrate northwards where food is plentiful, and conditions are optimal for nesting. In other seasons, these animals return to tropical regions to escape winter. To illustrate, North American monarchs travel thousands of miles to Mexico while in Africa, the dry season prompts wildbeests to migrate in search of fresh pastures for sustenance.
For many species, such migration is an important factor for recovery and variety of ecosystems and biodiversity.
