Capture the Moment! Selfie Contest with History.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

It’s selfie time. Selfies are pictures taken by one’s self usually using the front camera of the phone. I remember those days when phones didn’t have front cameras. Those were no selfie days but since the inception of phones with front cameras, selfies has been the order of the day.

I’ve taken some selfies and today am sharing some with us. Hope you’d enjoy coming down this lane with me.

This particular selfie is important to me because it was the day I visited a famous train station newly built in my area. It’s the famous rail way station at tejuosho in Lagos state Nigeria.

The station is a very busy one with people traveling through it to various parts of the country. They have more than four train trip schedules for everyday. I had always seen it from away whenever am passing through that region but today I decided to have a close look at it and it was really magnificent.

As you can see the train behind me had boarded and was about to leave. It was loudly blaring the horns and it really a beautiful sight. The manager of this particular trip was a white Chinese man and he was standing by the door. I waved at him and he waved back.

I also visited the control tower for the station and I went with one of my friends. He climbed the tower to get a good look while I was busy admiring the rail lines and how solidly they were built. It was fascinating for me indeed.

Did you see those beautiful smiles. This is one of my favorite selfies because it was a selfie with one of my favorite steemian @ruthjoe. I’ve known her for a while now and she’s my friend and a good companion. She has been very supportive in my steemit journey with her encouragement.

Most times I want to give up because of lack of support or maybe that usual feeling of doing so much with little result, she would always encourage me to not give up. She’s been a consistent steemian for over three years and serving as an MOD in two communities. Am still here, all thanks to her encouragement.

So this selfie was actually a conference we attended together and it was a good time of rubbing minds with great men. We took some photos at the end of the successful conference.

	Mirror mirror, what do you see?

The last is my selfie in front of the mirror. I had always wondered what it look like taking a selfie before the mirrow. I decided to give it a try and it came out perfect.

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and I must say I was confident as I was beautifully dressed. I went to use the rest room which had a mirror and after admiring the beauty of God’s creation, I decide to crown it all with a selfie before the mirror and it came out beautiful.
