So, today was another blessed day for me 22 December 2022 and my family, especially for my mother. I hope you all show your love and affection.

Morning

I wake up early in the morning. As my mother was suffering from kidney stones for a few years but she was not ready for its treatment. We were counseling her for a month to remove them surgically but she was so much afraid of it. Finally today we have to take her to the hospital for lithotripsy.

The full foggy weather and coolest day of December (Pic 1: Train Station, Pic 2: University)

So, we all ate breakfast and then I went to my university as there was an important and last class before the final examinations. The weather was so much foggy and every one prefer to travel on the orange train so, there was so much congested environment on the train. I reached the university on time, take classes, and then back home.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, we have to take our mother to the hospital for a lithotripsy. Lithotripsy is a treatment in which we break kidney stones by radiations that are large and can't remove surgically due to kidney complications. She is nervous and depressed as well but we encourage and counsel her that it's an easy and short-duration treatment.

We were in a private hospital Sheikh Zaid Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. Alhamdulilah the treatment was the cheap and short duration. There was a bed on which the lithotripsy apparatus was installed, my mother lay down on the bed and then they check the exact location of the stone in the left kidney. As there was a stone in the left kidney which cause obstruction and the kidney didn't work properly. So, there was necessary to break that stones without harming the left kidney much.

The treatment starts and it takes almost 20 to 30 minutes to break that stone we were happy, finally, the stones are treated without any harm. My mother was afraid at first and when the doctor asked Are these kidney stones painful for you? She said no, they are not and we were like she was saying for months that her back pains were due to stones and she didn't work due to them. But we ignored her as she was afraid of treatment that's why she is doing this.

The treatment was started and radiations break the stone

Then finally stone breaks completely into sand-like particles that will be extracted in urine. We were excited as we don't want to lose our mother, we were frightened at first but after consulting different professors and senior doctors we were relaxed that its treatment is easy and short. We came back home and take some rest. I bought fruits for my mother pomegranates and oranges, and make juice for her.

Evening

In the evening, we cook rice and porridge for my mother. As, for now, she can't eat tomatoes, rice, green leafy vegetables, lentils, or meat. So, we have to make avoidance food for her that can be better for her good health.

Dinner of mixed Rice with peas, and porridge

In the evening, she called an aunt and my married sisters to tell them about her treatment. She told them the treatment was like someone breaking stones with a hammer. It was painful at that time but after that pain was relieved. Then we all go to bed. It was a blessed day for us that mom's treatment was done and now she can live freely.
