Greetings to everyone in this amazing community. I salute the wonderful work done by the administrators of this community and wish you all good health. Today, I am privileged to participate in this challenge about “healthy routines”.

Introduction

We all live in a world where we need to work to pay our bills, clean our surroundings, cook because we need to eat to live, shop… oh yes because we cannot walk on the streets naked, exercise because our bodies need it, get enough sleep so our brains can function well, and take care of our children in my case, etc. The list is long but I’m pretty sure that these are the least that millions of women out there like me go through and can easily be overwhelmed.

It is always impossible to do everything well, not to talk about taking good care of yourself. Because I always put family first before thinking of myself. In the case of someone struggling with mental issues such as depression, creating a healthy routine will help you get things done without overworking yourself out. As you follow your daily routines, you realised that things get done and you have time to care for yourself. That said, I will be presenting my challenge in the subsequent paragraphs.

What moves Me every day to go out into the world to fulfill My responsibilities?

One thing I have realized about life is that when you take responsibility for your life, you ended up experiencing joy overflow and can as well manage circumstances around you. When you can manage circumstances around you, this implies making choices. Therefore, the choices of things I decide to do for a day give me the edged to go into the world and take full control of my responsibilities.

Indeed, a life they say does not have a duplicate somewhere. Once I can figure out my choices of things to do, even when I make mistakes, I can use it as a learning process.

I always love my life in a way that everything I do matters to me. My actions, and choices either at home or work, I make the matter a lot because I believed that they will lead me to the path to success.

My kids also are another beautiful thing that makes me go out there to take full responsibility. My kids did not apply to come to this world😂, I chose to bring them to the world. Therefore I need to take full responsibility for them.

What things do you do or what methods do you use to keep yourself in balance? Explain (health, beauty, fitness, sport, devotion).

Meditation: The first thing I do to keep myself balanced is morning meditation 🧘‍♀️. We all need inner peace which helps us stay calm. Meditation helps me have a balance between emotions and health. Remember when there is no inner peace, your body is emotionally disturbed. I do meditation every morning and it helps me a lot to cope with stress and refocused on doing things that bring me joy.

Eating Habits: In as much as we need food to live, we need to be careful with our eating habits. Most often I consumed vegetables and fruits to be healthy. I stay away from junk food and most often I prepare what I eat to be sure of what I’m eating.

Travel for leisure: This is another special thing I do to keep myself in balance. I always create time for at least a leisure trip in a year to relax from work.

Hang out with friends: At times when I feel overworked, I create time to hang out with friends. Discussing while hanging out somehow distracts me from thinking about things I cannot handle.

Do you feel that there are things you can improve in your routine?

As I said earlier, women always carry a lot of responsibilities which sometimes affect their mental health. I am not indifferent even though I try not to be affected by giving myself healthy routines. But there are some routines I need to improve upon myself. They include;
Sleep: I hardly get enough sleep during the day due to the many activities I do. If I can create more sleep time, it will help improve my health condition.
Exercise: Even though I do morning meditation, I think it’s not good enough for me. I need to visit the gym at least twice a week to do body exercises.
Drink Water: I hardly consume enough water even when I’m sick and the doctor prescribed at least 3 liters of water daily. It is so difficult for me to follow my water routines.
Consume less Maggi/salt: There is a saying that what is tasteful in your mouth is what will kill you. I think I need to try as much as possible to reduce the quantity of Maggi/salt I used to cook.

Would you like to add any other routine to your life? What would?

Yes, I would like to add a routine to my life and it will be a monthly check-up. At times we might be thinking we are healthy not knowing that there is a sickness in us gradually eating us up.

I always wait until when I’m unable to do anything because of my health issues before I consult which is not good. I would like to visit the doctor regularly for check-ups.

Are you satisfied with your current lifestyle or do you think it could improve?

Currently, I am living in a conflict zone and life at times is difficult to meet up with my daily routines. The economic crisis also has worsened and it is pretty difficult for one to follow healthy routines properly.

But I know that no condition in life is permanent. I keep striving to achieve the best. With time, I believe that everything will be back in line and I will improve my lifestyle. I will be able to most often go out for more leisure trips.

Which of the routines you perform would you Recommend?

I will recommend the two most important routines which are; leisure trips and eating habits.

If you want to live long, then eat healthy foods. Do not eat fatty foods because it might only help to fast forward your days to the grave.

Leisure trips are good and I will advise that no matter how busy you are, always try to create time for at least a single leisure trip.

Conclusion

In sum, good healthy routines help us to build a stronger immune system that can resist certain illnesses. Eat healthy food, have enough rest, do exercises, do a leisure trip, and do daily water therapy are some of the healthy routines I will advise us to practice. Your happiness depends on the types of healthy routines you practice. I will invite @fombae, @majerius, and @codingherald to participate in this challenge.

really what we take in is very very important some people don't ever care about that they drink anyhow, smoke anyhow with no concern. practicing healthy daily routines is really a great idea indeed.

And what you said concerning inner peace is very important you can never be healthy physically is you're not healthy psychologically or emotionally it's very important as well.

Eating very salty foods is delicious but we have to try to not eat very salty I recommend you to make your own Maggy cubes at home with oil and many veggies, put it on glass and use it for all your food, try to decrease the amount of salt you consume too
