"SEC - S9W4: "My Passion for the Arts"

Assalamualaikum all RECREATIVE STEEM friends, How are you today friends all, I really hope that today is the best day from the previous days. Hopefully all is well.

Coming here with my participation in the season 9 week 4 engagement challenge in a contest organized by the Recreative Steem community.

What art do you prefer and why?

I really like the art of miniature houses. Yes,, Very very happy with the job of making lots of miniature houses. In my area, Miniature house is one of the groom's gifts when holding a wedding. I sell it and I rent it for this ritual that is never empty. This art really trains my patience. I have made a lot of things, both from used cardboard and from wood and plywood materials.

From what age did you know you had the ability to develop this art, did you ever take classes or studies to improve it?

Since my first high school education I have known that I have the ability to develop this art. Half the time I had at that time I used to explore the art. But I took it more seriously after I was no longer a school student. There are no special classes or studies that I take to improve it, but I have a principle, with persistence I can do it. I use some good links through the YouTube channel and others on the internet as a reference to understand more about this art.

What was your biggest inspiration while practicing this activity? Who are the well-known characters in this field that you recognize?

At that time I was studying in grade 2 of junior high school, I found one of my relatives who was confused looking for ideas to start making one of the groom's delivery items when he wanted to hold his wedding. With the intention of helping him, I took the initiative to start doing something. With cardboard files I started making a miniature of the house.

I really know someone who is around me. Many of his works have been used for this purpose. He is not only good at making miniature houses. He makes several types of miniatures, such as miniature airplanes, miniature ships and other miniatures in the form of various types of animals.

Do you practice this art professionally or are you just an amateur? Have you participated in any competitions?

I am not one of those who practice this art professionally. I'm just an amateur. I will only do it when I have time to do it. Even though sometimes people will pay a lot for my art, I won't accept it when I don't really have a lot of time. Until now, I have never been involved in any competition.

Share examples of your expertise in this art (whether drawing, singing, writing poetry, dancing, etc.).

The art of making miniature houses as an offering in the tradition of sending the groom in local culture.
