Welcome all to my blog!

My name is fonexsignature, I am a fashion designer, being a designer I have to be creative and carry everybody along, so I will be posting here on how to cut and sew fabric, willing to explain it to the understanding of everyone.

So today I want to share how I cut and sew A-Cut full flare with turtle round neck.

REQUIREMENTS

✓ Tape
✓ scissor
✓ Ruler
✓paper gum
✓ Breastpad

MARKING AND CUTTING OF A-CUT FULL FLARE

I folded my ankara material into four in a triangular way. I used the waist measurement to determine my flare. The waist measurement is 30"÷4=8 plus seam allowance. For me to get my full measurement which is 56, I off my half length and measure from there to my full length. I used 8"and measure from 8" to my full length and cut it off

After Cutting off

I am done with the down part, I proceed to the upper part.
I folded my ankara material into two and mark neck 3/3, mark my bust, underbust, bust to bust and connect it and cut it off.
I did the same thing to the back pattern and add 2"zip allowance and cut it off.

sewing process

I joined the breast part together using half inch to sew, I also join the back pattern using half inch for sewing

Back Pattern
Breasts part

I joined the half length together and mark my measurements for shaping. I joined it with the down side and put my zip at the back pattern.
I also attached plain black material on the down part to beautiful my 👗 dress as you see in the picture below

I sew my sleeve to the dress and add flare style pattern on the centre of the sleeve.

I cut two inches material pressed it with paper gum and sew round the neck to give me a turtle neck. I took time to pressed my dress to neatened my finishing.
