Weekend || The diary game by @katiewest || My food and I || 7-8-22

A warm greeting to you all, fellow Steemians. It’s another weekend, and I thought to share how my day went. In this part of the world, today is Saturday, so I will love to tell you all about it.

As in most families here, Saturdays are tedious mostly because of chores. My family is not left out here, the house chores were split among my siblings and I. We are meant to round off the chores before making breakfast and eating as a family.

MORNING

I woke up around 7am, almost like I have an alarm in my body. You would hardly find me sleeping around past 7am, except it’s really cold. I brushed my teeth then went over my chores. It didn’t take so long to finish up because I did some on Friday night already.

When I was done, it was past 8am. I set out to make breakfast(I’m the chef at home, so stick around and you would definitely learn one or two recipes). I made coffee, toasts and guacamole. Guacamole is basically a mix of avocado pear, diced tomatoes, onions, pepper and lemon(optional).

It is really easy to make and a healthy option too, you should try it. We all ate, before everyone headed out to their other activities.

AFTERNOON

I had my bath after breakfast, after a long rest. My afternoon was not so interesting. I spent most of my time coming up with ideas for my IG business page. I run a food business by the way. I watched videos of others from my niche and wrote down new ideas and tips I could use.
In between surfing on the net, I logged into my Steemit account and saw some really nice and inspiring contents. I didn’t hesitate to leave comments to appreciate the writer. I snacked on some chinchin I had made earlier during this.

EVENING

Around 5pm, I went back to the kitchen to start up dinner. I made stirfry pasta with veggies and fried fish. They really enjoyed the meal.

We prayed as we normally did around 8pm. Then read the scripture for the day. We all retired to our rooms after saying our good nights.

I bet with all these pictures, you can agree with my family that I’m not called The Chef for nothing.
