My most embarrassing moment

I have grown to learn that there are different phases in life. There are times we may feel and live happily, there are also sad times and no matter how a person thinks he is perfect, there is also always a time to make mistake and to feel embarrassment.

It wasn't until that day that I realized I had things to work on.
Apparently I was very confident in myself and thought I already knew it all and that I couldn't make a mistake.

As a young person, I've been taught well to do the most important things first and that what should be put first in my life was preaching and teaching God's word. I accepted to put my whole life to the preaching work and take it as the most important. I had a burning zeal to join the rest of the brothers in the preaching and teaching work and that is what happened for many years. But one Moment in the field made me very embarrassed and I almost felt like crying...

Most embarrassing moment

The most embarrassing moment for me was going out without preparation. That day I went out with confidence thinking that the preparations I did the previous days will cover up for the day. But I soon realised I was wrong in my thinking.

I went out to the field and was paired with another publisher, we were both working on together when we saw a young man who wanted to get answers for a question how had for many years and for some reason he wanted me to answer it.
He asked questions like why does God allow evil and suffering to continue. I knew that was a simple question that I knew the answer to but at that moment I didn't know how to present the answers and I was mute hahaha.
Fortunately my partner was able to save the situation by promising him I'll return next time to answer his questions.

I felt really ashamed of myself that day, I also felt like I have disappointed everyone and I just wanted to go straight home.

I learnt never to leave home unprepared!

Yes, since resilience is very important, i didn't let myself to keep feeling bad but I knew I had to work hard not to repeat the same mistake and move on...

I was determined to always prepare my presentations and the questions I'm likely to get in the field.
I took that mistake I made as an opportunity to learn.

After that day I was able to go back to the person again and answer his question an he was very satisfied with it. He even wondered why I didn't answer it the other day since I knew the answer.......
